can you advise me?
We can offer our guidance right
from the start of a project. However,
it is important that you know your
approximate budget and have some
ideas about what you are trying
to achieve before any preliminary
discussions begin. Looking at our
website as you are will help you
decide whether we are the right
sort of construction company for
the size of development you are
considering.

both offer general information on
their web-sites including an interesting

Do
you carry out maintenance and repair
work?
No,
not general maintenance work or
property repairs, whether routine
or emergency, say after storm damage.
Our strength lies in specialist
refurbishment work on a relatively
large scale. |

Will
building work carried out by you
for us be liable to VAT?
Usually,
yes and this element is clearly
indicated on our written estimates.
There are, however, some circumstances
in which works are not liable for
VAT and where appropriate, details
are confirmed with HM Customs &
Excise on an individual basis

We
have plans prepared to build a small
extension to our modern two-bedroomed
house to provide a third bedroom
and bigger kitchen as cheaply as
possible – can you give us
a quote?
You
will be aware that construction
companies vary enormously in all
sorts of ways, including size (from
one man bands right up to the nationally-known
big names) and the sorts of projects
they undertake. As you can see from
the types of work featured on this
website, we are unlikely to be the
most suitable building company for
you or, therefore, to be able to
offer the most competitive estimate
for a job like this

Do
you only work in the area immediate
to Appleton and Oxford?
No,
but we tend to restrict ourselves
to a 30 mile radius of our offices
for reasons of practicality, including
access for our workforce and cost
considerations when aiming to provide
a competitive quotation.
