The project involved extensive internal refurbishment and a small extension of a South Oxfordshsire farmhouse. The scope of works included complete external fabric upgrading including replacement of all the existing windows. The interior was under the guidance of a specialist Interior Designer where, in addition to some quite significant structural alterations, the property underwent a total fit-out including new bathrooms, a new kitchen and a full re-wire of the existing electrical services incorporating new security, data and audio/TV installations.

It’s
amazing how a chalet bungalow from the
1950s can be transformed! This very ordinary
house now has an attractive ‘Arts
and Crafts’ style appearance as
well as offering more practical accommodation
to the owners.

Complete
refurbishment of this former farmhouse
was required to bring it up-to-date.
This included the installation of
new heating, plumbing and electrical
wiring systems. It was also redecorated
throughout and new floor finishings
were laid. As a feature, decorative
beaded arches were formed and a
new extension provided an additional
family room on the ground floor. |
