Follow the Stars for Macmillan Cancer Support

Once again, WG Carter is proud to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘Celebration of Christmas’ concert

ONLINE CHRISTMAS CONCERT

In this most unusual of years, ‘Follow the Stars’ will be an online event with Christmas readings from a cast of celebrities combined with music and carols from Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. 

This very festive concert will premiere on Friday 11th December at 8pm and will remain online, free to stream for viewers to enjoy from the comfort of their own home, until 31st December. We’re encouraging all our wonderful suppliers, clients, professionals, staff and friends to pre-register and receive an invitation to watch. 

Follow the Stars will include Christmas readings from Joanna Lumley, Stephen Fry, Jeremy Irons, Sinead Cusack, Max Irons, Toby Jones and Greg Wise. The Oxford Bach choir, along with baritones Roderick Williams and Christopher Purves, will be singing carols, as will the actor Alexander Armstrong.

All the celebrities have generously donated their time to help Macmillan Cancer Support offer vital support to the charity at a time when funds are perilously low and their services are needed more than ever. We too are pleased to be doing our bit to help them raise money by sponsoring the event and by spreading the word to get lots of people to watch it.
